Episode 13: Margarette Coleman – Empathetic Courage

Margarette Coleman is an Etiquette and Communication Consultant and Trainer. She spent the first 20 years of her work life in Counseling, Human Resources, and Education. Margarette recognized the struggle for people to introduce themselves, hold conversations, and even make eye contact with others. Due to the increase in the use of modern technology, face-to-face communication was deteriorating. So, she launched Everyday Manners with the goal of bringing back common courtesies, graciousness, and respect.

At Everyday Manners, they focus on improving communication, confidence, and courtesy (often referred to as soft skills) for individuals, groups, and corporate teams. Refining these skills as an individual can help you in all areas of life, whether you are a student or small business owner.

With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, years of coaching sports teams, certification in Conflict Resolution, and her other varied work experience, she brings a unique perspective to modern-day Etiquette and Communication Training. Margarette lives in Newnan, has been married for over 20 years, and has twins in college.
