She was worked for companies like Madison Gas and Electric, AmerisourceBergen, Duke Energy, CLECO, Toll Brothers, COX Automotive, Southern Company, and SunTrust, with industry experience in healthcare, automotive, digital media, aerospace, forest products, packaging, financial services, and information technology.

JoAnn worked for McKinsey and Company – the premier global strategy consultancy for Fortune 100 companies – serving as Global Practice Knowledge Manager. She also served as Corporate Public Relations Representative for Lockheed Martin in Bethesda, MD.
